Jared Allen the sack master signs with the Chicago Bears

So I'm my way to work and I get a "Breaking News" alert on my iphone and being the safe driver I am, I didn't click on the alert until I was stopped at a light I knows seems to take forever to change. That is when I clicked on the alert and nearly choked on my hot coffee.

Could not believe what I was reading...

"NFL.com Breaking News, Jared Allen agrees to a 4 year deal with the Chicago Bears.!" 

Boy did wake up Quick!!! I mean with all the talk about the Bears not having money to spend during free agency and Jared supposedly wanting huge bucks or he was going to retire, I would have never thought this deal would happen.

The Chicago Bears general manager Phil Emery promised he would attack the defensive woes of the Bears after a horrible season last year filled with injuries and disappointments throughout the Chicago Bear Defense and he seems to be doing that with many defensive signings this off season with the draft still yet to happen.

It's going strange seeing Jared in a Chicago Bears uniform but hopefully we'll see alot of this... :-)
